Advanced Techniques
Jigglypuff has many Advanced Techniques to further advance her gameplay.
Wall of Pain
Jigglypuff can take her opponents to the blastzone offstage with a chain of Forward Airs. This is call a Wall of Pain. This can catch her opponents at mid percents. Characters with slow start-up aerials are very susceptible to this.
Crouch to Rest Tech
|
Jigglypuff has a very low crouch, allowing her to crouch under many attacks, grabs, and aerials. With this, she can punish the ending lag of the moves she crouches under with a Rest. This is very easy to do, you just need to jump into them with Rest right after the move's active frames end.

Sharking
Sharking is only possible to perform on stages like Delfino Plaza, Halberd, and Skyloft. This is when Jigglypuff goes underneath the stage and hits her opponent for below. This is great to poke your opponent or get some free damage. Remember to renew your jumps on the ledge.
Ledge-Cancelled Sing
Jigglypuff can cancel Sing on the ledge to reduce the endlag. If your opponent is close by the ledge and grounded, Jigglypuff can Sing them to sleep and get a guaranteed follow-up like a Smash Attack or Rest.
Rest Cancelling
Jigglypuff can cancel Rest on stages with water, much like Delfino Plaza. If she falls into water while in Rest endlag, she will instantly wake up avoiding the chance to get punished. This can make Rest safe at low percents.
Drill Rest
|
Down Aerial is hard to combo off of due to the new vacuum effect. You can manipulate it by moving backward for the first half of the attack, and forward for the rest of it. This lets her get to her maximum air speed before the last hit, giving her time to follow up with a Rest.

Slanted Rollout
Rollout as a move has been changed in many ways, and its usefulness as a move is something that isn't entirely defined at this point. However, there is one important change that this move has received, and that is its interaction with sloped surfaces- Rollout now changes in power when Jigglypuff rolls up and down a hill. Remember this on stages like Corneria (on the 3ds version) to really mess with your opponents! Keep in mind, that the increase in power comes with an increase in speed. This makes Rollout a little difficult to control at times, so be careful not to roll off the stage.
Rising Pound and other angled inputs
That's right, Pound can be angled in the air! Simply hold up on the directional pad after inputting the move to redirect some of its momentum that way- this also works with angling down, forwards, and backwards. This can help your positioning a little bit, allow you to hit opponents that would otherwise be juuuust out of reach, and even help you land a situational (and very risky!) Rest followup sometimes. Although it's normally a very minor boost, every distance matters.
